As you might expect there are a lot of events in Glastonbury over the Diamond Jubilee weekend. Here are the ones we know of at present:
Day 4 of the Olympic Torch Relay saw it pass through Glastonbury. We have never seen so many people about in town at 10.00am! Click here for more Pilgrims event pictures. Click here to see video highlights of day 4 of the relay.
Glastonbury Fringe will be series of independently produced local performances and workshops – music, dance, drama, comedy, poetry, crafts, film and art spread throughout the town during the period 21st June – 1st July, filling the void left by the absence of a Glastonbury Festival this year. Yesterday was Brian’s birthday. It just happened to coincide with this years Well-Being Retreat at Pilgrims, so I bought him a little cake to share ….

On Saturday 19th May, the Olympic Torch begins an epic 70 day journey that will see it pass through 1000 cities, towns and villages and so come within 10 miles of 95% of the UK population.
