Saturday 29th November at 3.30 marked the first performance of the Avalon Anthem, performed on the Frost Fayre at the Market Cross by the Avalonian Free State Choir together with the Glastonbury community.
This was the warmest and brightest Frost Fayre we can remember. But judging by the number of visitors, it was certainly the busiest. The Frost Fayre also marked the first performance of the ‘Avalon Anthem’. More about that ….

Sorry – all rooms now gone.
Andrew Kerr, co-organiser of the Glastonbury Festival for many years, passed over today. It is 44 years to the day that he moved on site at Worthy Farm to begin organising the 1971 free festival ‘Glastonbury Fair’ together with Arabella Churchill and Michael Eavis. – the true origin of the Glastonbury Festival we still love today.
There is much that could be said of this incredible achievement amonst his many others but better to hear it in his own words in his autobiography Intolerably Hip: The memoirs of Andrew Kerr. More important is to note from his achievements that we can achieve anything and everything if we work together with the right intention and motives.
