Pilgrims B&B and Glastonbury News

Big news! I officially have my own page on the site now! Dexter’s Occasional Diary. You can find it under the News section (or click here).
About time I think – but it does mean I have to write something soon!
After all the hard work of our Garden Angels last year, and the ongoing work of Alan and Graham, the flowers in the Pilgrims garden are looking fantastic so we just had to show some of them here.

We have finally had the opportunity to do some work on the site. In particular a lot of photographs have been added to the News section – you can find these articles by trawling through the ‘News Archive’ section from December 2009 to May 2010, or go to them directly from these links:

This was a wonderful retreat which we were privelaged to be a part of. Thank you Karl for the invitation to the sound healing.

Morning Tai Chi in the Pilgrims garden
It’s official! My birthday is May 8th, or maybe May 9th – we’re not too sure so we had a birthday party both days ( I insisted!).
They have also established that I am 9 years old (and not a kitten as some thought). I of course already knew this – they only had to ask!!
It just happened to coincide with Karl and Nina’s Wellbeing retreat so I invited them for cake.

Hands off! That's MY cake!
Being 9 years old they thought I should have my own key to the door – I pointed out that I have paws (and no pockets) so they gave me my own door instead!

I still prefer them to let me in and out - it's only fitting!
Now a door is one thing (and useful it can be when I can’t wake them up to let me out), but there is nothing like snuggling in your den after a night out prowling! Anyway, I deserve it, it’s my birthday!!

The 2010 Well-Being Retreats are following the same pattern as the September 2009 try-out. Both the March and May events have sold-out well in advance. The September event is going the same way and only a few places are left. If you don’t want to miss out, book very soon. Click here for photographs of past retreats
We managed to get out to Shapwick Heath this Sunday to see the Starlings perform their incredible aerobatic display. The photograph does not do it justice – many thousands of Starlings joining from all directions to dance in the sky before settling down for the night.

A dance in the sky just for us
As always, a lovely ceremony at Chalice Well. Clare also went on the walk to Bride’s Mound and the last photo is of the approach to the Mound.
