Jon Cannon is the author of Cathedral: the great English cathedrals, and the recent BBC TV documentary, How to build a cathedral. He will give us an overview of the way in which medieval cathedral and abbey churches functioned as institutions and how this is reflected in their architecture, with special reference to Glastonbury, Bath and Wells.
